About UsMy name is Glo and I have been buying and selling Antiques and Collectables for over thirty years in England, Europe and the United States. specializing in Fine Quality Boxes, Vanity items and Travel accessories but also have a variety of other interesting items that would grace any collection,
My stock has appeared in various publications over the years including the well known Millers Antiques and Collectables Guide and the Lyle Antiques Guide, I have also exhibited at many of the major Antique Fairs in England and owned shops both in the nearby City of Bath and Bradford on Avon.
Now I deal mainly from the comfort of our beautiful family home in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, England, which abuts the famous Kennet and Avon Canal. I can now sit in our garden with my laptop along with the Ducks, Moor Hens, Swans and Kingfisher and our two crazy rescue dogs. I must not forget my wonderful husband Peter who spends most his time taking photographs of my stock.
It is a very pleasant way to conduct business and this way I can be available for customers either by email or telephone at most times. I offer a Layaway Plan for all of my items which is always a help in those couple of weeks before Pay Day all I ask is a 25% deposit and the balance within 30 days of purchase.
My customers are from all walks of life and include Private Antique Collectors, Antique Dealers and Interior Decorators, some I have known for many years.
All items are very well packed and usually arrive within 3 to 5 working days, if you require them very quickly for a special occasion just let me know and I am sure I can sort this out for you, I have managed a delivery from the UK to New York within 48 hours for a customer placing an order for the Wedding Anniversary present that had "Slipped his mind" !!!.
Deliveries within the UK are usually sent using "Royal Mail Special Next Day" delivery and will arrive before 1.00pm the next day, heavier items will be sent via a Courier Service. Goods for overseas are sent via Royal Mail using Tracked and Signed. All of this provides you with not only peace of mind but a superb and proven tracking service so you can closely follow the progress of your purchases.
A link will be sent to you for either of these services, obviously there may be unavoidable delays at time with weather conditions etc but the Courier companies always do their best and so do I.
