About UsLike so many dealers in vintage jewelry and attire, I started as a collector. Ever since my dear grandmother gave me my first rhinestones, I've been hooked. (She had a good eye, by the way - her first gift was a DeLizza & Elster rivoli masterpiece!) Now, many years of passionate study and collecting later, I hope to have the pleasure of hunting for treasures with my niece Addie (hence, Addie's Attic). I think my odds are good - she's not talking a lot yet, but when she sees rhinestones, she says, "Mmmm!".
I am particularly taken with classic pieces by Trifari, Weiss, Coro, Miriam Haskell, Schreiner, and other 1940's to 1960's designers, and with dramatic vintage rhinestone pieces, signed or unsigned. I pride myself on meticulous research, and provide background on my pieces whenever possible. The vintage jewelry community is a generous group, and I love hearing from others with bits of history they've come across.
In addition to vintage jewelry, I will occasionally offer vintage clothing or textiles that I find particularly striking. I want my customers to be thrilled with their purchases, and to find as much joy in them as I do!
