This is a wonderful Mexican Sterling Silver necklace. It is marked SEPCIO sterling and has an eagle with the number 3 in the middle, which dictates to being made In Taxco, Mexico fairly early, possibly the 1950's. We have had this necklace for over 25 years. I always remember this beauty floating around in our collection. I always thought it had a wonderful arts and crafts look to it. It is definitely made from Sterling Silver both marked and tested. Adorned with a hanging tear drop of banded malachite. This necklace is wonderful an a timeless piece. The chain is really good quality with flat soldiered oval links. The clasp is a simple hook, which works well for this necklace. I did polish this necklace very lightly. The condition of this necklace is absolutely wonderful. This is an extremely well made piece.
