These are a lovely pair of door knocker earrings. They remind me of a buckle. They are crafted from 18K yellow gold with a single pearl in each earrings. These earrings are very three dimensional in constriction as well as looks. The body is a gold shield with a snake like design and a fold over buckle. The buckle and snake design is attached through the shield with pins as shown in the reverse photographs. The tops feature a filigree fleur de liz. The ear wires I believe to be replacements in 14K, but suit the earrings well. These earrings are in good condition with a couple of minor scratches to the shield portion on one. They are not hallmarked but tested as 18K body and 14K wires.
