This is a late Edwardian pin, dating 1912. It is crafted from Sterling Silver with a large faceted paste. The paste is foil backed black dot. The paste is set into a multi prong crown setting. The prongs are not in the best condition with a couple missing, but yet the stone is very stable. The frame is etched with cute little pansies on the 8 point star. A cute little brooch that needs a good cleaning, but I did not want to compromise the foil backing so I am selling as is at a great price.
