This ring my daughter and I call it the DNA Ring. It is crafted from 14K yellow gold and sterling silver with earth mined emeralds and rubies. This ring is unique in the fact that the ring itself was custom made to suite the top of the ring with the emeralds and rubies. It is secured with prongs at each intern. So, unique. I have no clue of its originality but date the entire ring to the mid 1800s. The face of the ring is crafted from sterling silver with natural stones. The stones are all hand cut more so like an early table cut. The stones appear to be original and well matched especially for such a variance in cuts. The emeralds are a medium saturation with the rubies also medium with purple undertones. This is truly a unique and show stopper ring. it is in excellent condition for its age, with one tiny chip on one emerald as photographed .
