This is such a unique ring. It is crafted from 14K yellow gold(confirmed with testing). The design is from the Art Nouveau Era, dating from the 1880's/1900's. The shank features amazing swirl scroll work. The center of the ring features a prong set hand carved salmon coral gothic face of a man. A Greek god for sure. The coral is natural and untreated. It is very interesting how it is secured in the setting. The prongs reach over the groves edge in the carving. There is no movement in the coral what s ever. To the right and left of the god are two old cut diamonds one is a mold mine cut and the other appears to be an old european cut with an approximate carat weight of 1/4 Carat each +/-. The diamonds are in good condition with no fractures. The coral is also fracture free. No hallmarks were located but tested as natural old diamonds, 14K. The rings is in over all great condition, with normal yet minimal wear from age.
