This is a fairly early example of enameled Austro- Hungarian work. It is a pendant crafted from Silver with enamel, turquoise and seed pearls. This piece also was purchased from France. This pendant is articulated and meant to move with you when worn. The bottom of the pendant is adorned with 5 oval turquoise cabochons when are in a bezel crimped setting, just above each dangle are tiny little seed pearls all accounted for and original. Each dangle sways independently from one another. The five dangles are attached to a crescent shape with is adorned with pave turquoise all graduated in size from the middle out. The crescent is attached to the center piece from each side to also sway freely back and forth. The center portion is one piece which features 13 bezel crimped settings which house the cabochon turquoise. Between the outer 12 stones is black enamel with black dots. A typical early Austro Hungarian trademark. The enamel is in good condition for its age, but does show signs of wear. Please zoom in for your observation. There is a small oval in the center which possesses a oval frame of seed pearls each original and bead prong set. The top is affixed with a simple jump ring as the bail, it is a soldiered jump ring of which I assume to be original. The back of the pendant does show a very old repair. Other than the above noted, the pendant is in good condition.
