This is an amazing Victorian sterling silver and turquoise necklace. It dates from the mid to late 1800s. This necklace features 11 dangles with a very unique design and pattern. The Necklace appears to be completely original. The clasp is hand etched and matches the hand etching design in the curved portion of the dangles. The clasp is a box clap which functions perfectly. The chain is a riveted rolo chain. The necklace is very symmetrical with a lovely feminine appearance. All of the stones are present, original and in wonderful condition to the necklace. There is no damage noted. The condition of this necklace is fabulous with a lovely patina. The turquoise is aging nicely with a color variation that, in my opinion, is very desirable. This necklace was purchased in France, however we are unable to locate any hallmarks to identify its origin. This piece has been tested as Sterling Silver with natural turquoise.
