This is an early example of William Spratling's work. It dates from 1940-1946 per the well defined hallmarks on the back. It is crafted from mahogany wood with Sterling Silver accents. This is a fairly rare bracelet. I do not find his early work in wood very often. The cuff is wide measuring from both to south at 1 1/2 inches. The condition is very good for its age. There are some light scuffs on the wood which I am sure can be polished down with the proper wood polish, but noted. The silver bands on the face are inlayed into the wood and wrapped around to the inside. The hallmark tag is applied with pins into the wood. This is a classic timeless bracelet which in my opinion will never go out of style.
