Fabulous Brilliant Rose Cut Diamond Earrings. These earrings, I purchased in Belgium approximately 4 years ago. They are victorian, dating roughly from the mid 1800's. They are crafted from 14K Rose and yellow gold. The earrings are very well crafted and the use of quality in craftsmanship as well as material is very evident in these earrings. The tops are sleeper post backings in 14K Yellow gold. The top of the post is adorned with a single rose cut diamond measuring roughly 3.5mm each as they are not perfectly round. Just below the stationary diamond is a long bar which sways like a pendulum. At the Botton of the yellow gold flat bar is a cluster of Rose cut diamonds. The bottom cluster is in rose and yellow gold . Each diamond is individually set. The center diamond is the largest and is prong set. The center diamonds roughly measure approximately 4- 4.5mm each. The surrounding halo of diamonds are bezel set with bead prongs. All diamonds are original and very full of fire. There are very clean and clear with a couple showing carbon, but nothing unusual or dark about these beauties. No hallmarks have been located, but tested as 14K. Overall condition is free from defects or chips, simply normal minimal wear.
