This ring has puzzled me for months, but I finally I was able to make some sense of it. The ring is crafted from very thick white 18K gold. It is in a cigar band style. The stones where what puzzled me. After lots of research I have concluded that they are natural sapphire of a blue - green - pail purple color changing. Yes, this is a color. The stones have a mysterious ora to them, they are slightly color changing sapphires under certain lights it has a pail purple hue and then different lighting a green hue, & blue hue, but they are indeed sapphires. One is an oval cut and the two side sapphire are a pear shape. The band is rather thick and is an extremely well make piece. The hallmarks are a model number of 355 on once side and the opposing side 18K and a lowercase m in a circle. This hallmark is also a mystery to me, during research I found a couple of different artists that it may be such as John Hardy or ORLA VAGN MOGENSEN who designed for Georg Jensen. However, I am unable to confirm for sure as Orla designed flatware and not jewelry and John hardy, it could be early work as the hallmarks early on are close. With that being said, sorry to confuse.
