The color in these earrings is so brilliant. They are crafted from 14K Yellow gold. The bottom drop is turquoise blue peaking glass. It is held by a grove wire wrap around the entire peaking glass. It is adorned with a elegant details on the top and bottom in gold. The drops are suspended by a chain which leads to the tops which have a similar design with the exception of the center stone being turquoise, not peaking glass. They are similar in color. These earring started as what I believe to have been screw backs, but I can not be for sure. What I am sure is that they have been converted into 14K posts which have been soldiered to the top portion from the back. They feature butterfly 14K nuts. With the exception of the conversion, they are in wonderful condition and original. We believe they are late Art Nouveau, 1900's. No hallmarks found with the exception of the butterfly backings, tested and confirmed for the balance of the gold to be 14K.
