This is a Early Chinese Export ring dating from 1911 – 1948. It is crafted from 14K yellow gold. I purchased this from one of my very favorites ladies in the trade who only has the most exquisite taste in fine pieces. The dragon is coiled around the face of the ring with the most amazing details. The details in the back ground depict swirls of wind and clouds, definitely a spirit animal for sure... The end of the dragons tail is adorned with a pink sapphire which is four prong set. The sapphire is a bright pink round cut with natural inclusions. The eyes of this horned dragon are diamonds which are bezel set with closed backs. This is such a conversation piece and demands attention not to mention it is so very comfortable on the finger. The over all condition of this ring a wonderful with minimal wear. The inside of the band is hallmarked 14K as well as MADE IN CHINA. Testing confirmed the gold as well as the stones.
