A Lovely retro ring. This ring is crafted from 14K White gold tested and hallmarked. It features a center cabochon of natural untreated fire opal. The opal possesses an array of colors with a brownish base color. The colors bursting through are orange, green, red, yellow & blue to name a few of the most present colors. This ring really pop in color in the natural light and color are still present in the indoor lighting. The opal is four prong set with no movement to the stone. The stone is in fabulous condition with no chips or damage. Surrounding the opal are 8 Round cut diamonds bead prong set which resemble a flowers pattern or perhaps a star. The diamonds in the inner array are larger than the outside array. There are eight smaller diamonds each individually set with 4 prongs. The back of the ring is a closed setting for the opal and open for the diamonds. The ring dates from the 1950's and is in excellent condition.
