I have for your consideration an unbelievably breathtaking Limoges jardiniere/ cache-pot on its original base with claw feet, 1890-1932.
The jardinière is decorated with a hand painted pink and yellow roses with different on either side. The colors are crisp and vibrant, and the roses are accented with white enamel.
Sitting on the plinth, the jardinière soars to a height of almost 14" (36 cm) high. The jardinière measures 11" (28 cm) tall and 10.5" (26.5cm) across at the mouth opening. The circumference is an impressive 41.5"(105cm) at its widest... an incredibly large AND gorgeous piece!
Both of them are marked by Jean Pouyat (JP) Factory, dated ca 1890 to 1932.
The jardinière and the base are both in very good condition. There are no chips, flakes, cracks, hairlines or spiders, only an inconspicuous paint-loss in a yellow rose's center (shown on photo4) and slight firing flaw on the bottom of jardiniere, only outside (shown on photo9).
If you have any questions, or require further information and photos, please email me and I will gladly provide this to you.
