Here we have a magnificent pair of verdigris copper and sterling silver articulated fish measuring about 20" long and about 10" tall. They are by noted artist and jewelry designer, Graziella Laffi (1923-2009). They were from the estate of a Santa Barbara philanthropist who died several years ago. They have great movement and display beautifully. The sterling is around the eyes, on some fins and tails. It is marked Peru G. Laffi and sterling .925 on the tail. condition: they are in great vintage condition with normal wear and tear. There is a small dent on top of one fish and some oxidation and some patina wear showing the copper. The copper is hammered and some of the fins have bends on the ends but no breaks and the articulation is just fine. You don't see these often and especially in this size.
