Beautiful old Dutch Delft blue & white large wall plaque. Unsigned that I can see, it is about 23" tall by 19" wide. Scrolled edges with a village scene and a mask under the scenic panel. This is at least 19th century and could be 18th. It has some wear and tear with nicks along the edges and on back, mostly glaze nicks and some crackling on the panel as you can see. I believe the tin glaze/faience used is fired low so the glaze is prone to easy nicks unlike stoneware which is high fired for durability. There are a couple holes at the top for hanging and one lower left I guess for secure anchoring to a wall. Nice large piece which I am sure you will enjoy.
