Wonderful English sterling silver tea set from London in a Georgian style design. The date mark reads 1959 and I don't know the maker, as it appears to be JLC. There are 2 pots and a creamer and sugar. Each pot having a plain round bellied body, with applied gadroon borders, wooden scroll handles, a flame knop finial on the taller one and and anthemion leaf decorated spouts.
The taller pot is about 11" tall the smaller one, 7" tall. the creamer about 5 1/4" tall and the sugar bowl about 3 3/4" tall. The total weight is 2160 grams (this includes the wood handles) and condition is excellent, no monograms no dents but could use a polish.
