Beautiful large pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain covered ginger jars. We believe these are Guangxu period, late 19th early 20th century. They are about 18" tall to top of lids or 15" without lids. They have the double happiness symbol on 4 sides of each jar.
They are in excellent vintage condition with nice cobalt blue decorations/designs all around including lids. They have some firing flaws and a few small glaze skips some scratches but no chips or cracks (I do see a small very old nick on the interior lip of one jar where the lid sits on the jar). One lid finial leans a little to one side as you can see but that is from making and not a repair. Some dirt and residue inside but gorgeous as a pair. They are signed with large 4 character marks on bottom as shown.
