Here is a beautiful Art Deco entry way hall tree coatrack with mirror and really cool glass hangers for a coat or hat. This was purchased by a NYC dealer back in the 1970's in France and shipped back. She has since passed away and they kept it in their home after moving to CA. It is about 71 1/8 inches tall and about 46 1/8 at its widest. The column on the left side end has carved scrolls with fish and stars. It has a metal lined hopper for umbrellas and you can get a piece of glass cut to place on top and use as a small shelf.
It is in very good condition for its age with wear and tear. You can see some nicks on the veneer and a larger chipped piece on the edge as shown. Replaced screws on back where the glass and metal coat hangers are attached. Very nice. She had attributed this to Jules Leleu (who I had not heard of until the husband told me). Unmarked.
