Here we have an amazing circa 1920 French bronze wall sconce with a winged cherub. It has 2 vaseline /opalescent glass shades for the lower 2 lights and missing the upper shades. Not sure if the shades are original but that is how it was in the home where it was used for many years. It about 24" tall from the ribbon top to the very bottom and about 16" wide, excluding the shades. I believe the original gilding is gone and may have been reglided later but most of that is gone. There are 2 holes at the bottom of the scrolled bronze that holds the lower shades (see photos) and looks like maybe some sort of finial screwed in but they are missing and do no detract. Very well designed and quite heavy as you can imagine. Unsigned.
