Here we have an amazing bronze sculpture, fresh to the market since its purchase in 1985. The artist is John Soderberg (1950-) Glendale CA & Arizona).

It depicts - a nude young woman swimming in a stylized body of water with her shorts and shirt strewn about. She may be part mermaid as she has what looks like fins on her calves to her ankles. Sculpture is attached to a marble base and is #6/30 and dedicated to Clariss.

Soderberg is known for his Native American artwork in bronze is. Heavy ( just over 50 lbs) and measures about 16.5" tall 25" long x 14" wide. Excellent condition.
