Really cool 18th century sampler created in 1760-before the Revolutionary War!! This is framed with a very old frame that measures 11.25" x 15" with an old break/missing part on bottom as you can see. This happened a long time ago as the patina looks all the same.
The sampler is mostly all there with minor losses to the edges and small missing fabric top edge as seen. It is a busy sampler with so much work all over the place. I can't read the top part clearly, the bottom area reads MARY FURSLOW (?) FINISHED THIS SAMPLER IN THE ELEVENTH YEAR OF HER LIFE IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1760.
Really amazing to see such delicate fabric like this surviving. This is not my area of expertise so please ask questions and I am happy to send more photos.
