Purchased in northern CA and after much research I have determined along with a silver dealer friend, this is a rosewood and sterling silver domino set by William Spratling circa 1965. The clasp where it would be marked is missing and there are no other marks. It has these little sterling prunts or nipples on the box and four on bottom corners (one is broken). The box is 8 x 5 x 2" tall and each domino is 1x2". There is a Pre Columbian eagle or feathered serpents head on center of box lid and on each of the dominoes (28 in all). On the other side are tiny silver divets for numbers and a bar in center with a prunt in the middle. Excellent vintage condition with some wear and as you can see the top needs some wood oil/conditioner and there is a tiny bit of wood shrinkage on bottom of box as you can see. Very nice. I will guarantee this is Spratling or money back within 7 days. Thanks.
