This is a fabulous vintage coffee table by Maison Charles from a very large home in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. We acquired this table about 10 years ago and it sits in our living room. We are told it was purchased from Maison Charles and is bronze and patinated metal with 4 stone or stone veneered block plinths.
These horses are an Eastern Han dynasty symbol and each horse rests on a flying swallow. Square brass tubes connect each corner block plinth and is topped with a thick beveled edge glass top with cut corners. The glass top is 40" on each side and the base is about 38" at its widest on each side.
Very good vintage condition with some oxidation and normal wear with the stone blocks maybe having a small nick or two and the table top has a couple small edge nicks.
This will have to be shipped freight and I have used Plycon over the years and find their prices reasonable for items shipping freight.
