Here we have a vintage 1930's or 1940's Tlaquepaque Mexican Our Lady of Guadalupe Holy Water pottery bottle. It is a lovely piece that still retains all of its original vibrant colors. She is dressed in blue and yellow with black hair and blue robe. There is a cherub or young child at her feet with arms spread. The bottle stopper is still intact although nicked. The back shows the fullness of her robe along with the handle. This bottle originally contained holy water and is in very good vintage condition with some glaze skips or losses and normal wear but overall quite fine for its age and what it was used for. I see no cracks. The bottom of the piece is impressed Made In Mexico mark. She measures nearly 13" to the top of the stopper. She is beautiful and most likely earthenware that is low fired.
