Here is a wonderful and rare caneware (unglazed stoneware) Portland Vase, England, 19th century, molded body with classical relief, a man wearing a Phrygian cap under the base, impressed P.S.W. Co. mark and measures about 9 1/2" tall.
It is in very good condition for its age with no chips noticed, there is a fine line on exterior bottom but I don't see it inside.
Not sure who the PSW Co was but nice detail and a gorgeous piece for any collector. The estate this came from had many pieces of Wedgwood some of it very old and this was sold as Wedgwood but they did not see the mark on bottom. This was in a small collection of caneware game casserole dishes and I have one of them listed as well.
