From a recent Rancho Santa Fe estate, we have this amazing sterling silver pitcher which has what looks like an ice lip, with repousse flowers and scrolls. It is hallmarked as shown and I am not sure if the date mark is 1785 or 1805 or 1825 with George III hallmark (he is facing right). It is about 5 1/8" tall. It is hallmarked with a Henry Chawner hallmark as you can see and unmonogrammed. What is interesting is that the spout is on the side and not in front as most pitchers are. I am sure there must be a proper name for this piece. Forgive my lack of knowledge here.
It weighs 12.6 oz or 360 grams on my postal scale. It is in amazing condition considering its age with normal wear, there is a small area inside bottom that could possibly be a repair as it is a different color but I see nothing on the outside to indicate it as repaired. Sold as is.
