This is a beautiful late Victorian (Circa 1890) Diamond and Emerald Witches Heart Pendant. The pendant is crafted out of 15k gold (gently acid tested) with the diamonds set in continental silver (800-850/1000). The lovely old cut diamonds have an estimated weight of .80-1 carat in diamonds all well matched old mine cuts with a brilliant sparkle. The emeralds are also very well matched step cuts with an estimated carat weight of 3.5- 4 carats. This beauty was a brooch and has been converted to a pendant for easy everyday wear. It is a very fine quality well made piece of jewelry history. The length of the heart pendant is 3.6cm at greatest dimension and the weight is 6.6 grams. The pendant has 25 old step cut emeralds and 23 old mine cut diamonds not including four tiny rose cut accents at the tips of the larger emeralds set North to south. The pendant measures 1.5" North to South and 1.2" "East to West. The chain is for display and is not included in the sale. The piece is truly one of a kind and very well made. It is in wonderful antique condition.
