California San Francisco Gold Enamel Ladies Belt Buckle Signed W. Bohms Jan 27th 1863
This is an antique American 14 KT Rose Gold and black enamel ladies belt buckle. It is signed W. Bohms Patent Jan 27th 1863 on the metal fitting. W. Bohms from San Francisco, the date suggests from the time of the Gold Rush. The buckle made for a woman, possible a cloth belt or soft leather. It is beautifully engraved in the center edge a rose on each side. The black enamel has some heavy wear, but overall has a good look. It measures 2 ½ x 1 ½ inches and weighs 19 grams.
