This large Fulper vase has a wonderful combination of flambe glazes. The vase starts at the top in chinese blue then mixes with a spot of cat's eye on one side and then flows to an overall bottom of mirror black. The previous owner had covered the base of the vase with green felt. When the felt was removed, the raised oval racetrack mark, which was in use between 1916 and 1922, was revealed. The vase measures 11 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide. It is in very good condition with a few minor shallow surface scratches which are not possible to photograph. The longest scratch is roughly 4 1/2" long stretching horizontally around the mid-section (4 1/2" above the base).
