Delicate Schafer & Vater Beaded Green Jasperware Hair Receiver, circa 1900. Ornate lid features two butterflies, surrounded by blue enamel beading, in graduating sizes. Small lavender enameled beading surrounding the opening for hair. Lid and base are adorned with scrolls, spirals, etc. Base rests on 4 feet. Measures 4 inches in diameter x 2 1/2 inches tall. Base is marked with the number 3879 (circa 1900) and artist's signature/number, 66. This is a superb piece of antique Jasperware has a few enamel beads missing from the circular hair-opening and minor discoloration at the seams of the base. Free Shipping.
