This wonderful dog figurine, made in "Occupied Japan" absolutely exudes personality and charm. She is one of the many items made in Japan, specifically for export between 1945 - 1952. Her red "Made in Occupied Japan" mark, tells us that she was created during the first half of that period of time, making her an older piece, and the most collectible. Standing 2" tall x 3 1/2" long x 1 1/4" wide, she is in excellent condition. Her coloring is bold and really beautiful, with black and a caramel brown matte paint over a high gloss white. Her sad but hopeful expression will certainly melt your heart. She will certainly be a great addition to an "Occupied Japan" collection, or a very sweet companion on your desk or vanity table.
