This whimsical, vintage, child's dish, was created by Roseville in their Zanesville factory from 1923-1926. The excellent condition of this Art Pottery dish is a testament to the quality of this piece, as well as to the loving home it came from. It is 8" in diameter x 1 1/4" high. It has three, identical dogs sitting in a blue/grey circle. That blue/grey circle is repeated along the top edge of the dish. Similarly, there is a dark grey pencil-looking circle drawn on the inside of the dish, surrounding the dogs, and that same circle is repeated along the side of the dish. The top edge of the dish is rolled, to help keep the child's food inside the dish. The dish is also clearly marked on its underside, with the RV ink stamp, which was only used by the company during this short period of time. Please note that the dark grey and blue streaks seen along the underside are paint marks, originally done during the manufacturing process. If you a collector, looking for this dish, you can't find one in better condition. If you are looking for a unique and very special baby gift, you certainly can't go wrong with this wonderful, vintage dish.
