Antique Victorian hard stone sardonyx cameo 10k yellow gold ring unisex size 9-3/4 / hand carved / late 1800s / extra heavy 8.1 gram mounting. Measures 3/4" north/south, band tapers to 3.3mm at the back of the ring shank. Bezel set stone measures 11/16" x 9/16". Low side profile rise of 3/16". Very well made sturdy weighty mounting that would be ideal for everyday wear. Typical of the majority of authentic antique Victorian jewels (particularly hand crafted pieces such as this), the ring is not gold hallmarked, but has been carefully tested by two separate independent jewelers for karat fineness and is guaranteed to test minimum 10k solid gold in content/purity. In excellent very well cared for condition, circa late 1800s.
