Antique Edwardian 10k gold opal diamond and fresh water pearl buttercup setting lavalier pendant necklace with original chain. Measures 1-7/8" long (total length including the bail), x 5/8" wide, weighs 3.9 grams. Features a bezel set 2.8mm diameter opal, and a round brilliant cut 2.7mm diameter (.06 carat) diamond mounted into a six prong buttercup setting. The diamond is very radiant with very good color and clarity, no eye visible inclusions and lots of sparkle. The opal has lovely play-of-color and the fresh water pearl at the bottom is a beautiful very pale creamy pink with lots of iridescence. With its original 10k yellow gold 18" long chain with spring ring clasp. Hallmarked "10K" on the clasp of the chain, and also on the bail of the pendant. In excellent very well babied condition. Circa 1910.
