Antique Edwardian 14k gold enamel purple amethyst pendant necklace. This lovely pendant has been transformed from its former life as a brooch, to a much more wearable pendant (aka- conversion jewelry). Measures 1-1/4" x 9/16", weighs 2.8 grams. Oval faceted purple amethyst measures 3.5mm x 5mm x 2.7mm (.25 carat). The amethyst has very rich deep purple color. The pink, cream, and green enamel are semi transparent and is in excellent condition. With a 18" long fine 14k yellow gold curb link chain with spring ring clasp. In excellent condition, circa 1900-1910. A delicate piece most suitable for petite women. Amethyst is the birthstone for the month of February.
