Stunning vintage Art Deco 14k gold (two tone white and yellow) filigree black onyx ring, size 5. Measures 3/4" x 5/8" with a 3/16" rise off the top of the finger. The band tapers to 1.3mm at the back of the ring shank, and the ring weighs 3.5 grams. The ring is primarily yellow gold with white gold triangular insets on the shoulders and around the bezel where the stone is securely set. It is a flat low ring so it's quite comfortable on the hand and the elongated shape is very flattering, the size is really just right so it looks nice on both a petite hand or as a pinkie ring for more robust hands. The ring has lost its karat stamp due to a sizing, however it has been carefully tested by two separate jewelers and is guaranteed to test minimum 14k solid gold in content/purity. In excellent well cared for condition with only the slightest age appropriate wear, really faces up beautifully and is a good piece to transition between informal casual attire and dressier evening wear. Circa 1920.
