Fantastic vintage Art Deco 10k white gold black onyx and diamond statement rings, size 9-1/4. The black onyx is so wonderful and unusual, with frosted panels and deeply grooved ridges that are highly polished, really setting the stone off and accented by a diamond in the center. The onyx is set in a very dramatic multi pronged mounting and the ring measures 7/8" x 5/8", and the band tapers to 2.2mm at the back of the ring shank. The ring weighs a sturdy 6.3 grams. Even though the ring is on the more large and showy size, it's relatively flat to the hand with a bit of a curve, so it fits close to the finger and is both comfortable, and flattering. There is a round faceted single cut 2mm (.03 ct) diameter diamond set in the middle in a elongated diamond shaped head. The inside of the ring shank is hallmarked "10K". In outstanding extremely well cared for condition. There is a small chip that is visible under magnification on the tiny diamond hidden under the prong, the diamond is original to the mounting. It is not visible with the naked eye, and we thought about replacing it, but since it is original and can't be see we opted to keep it. NON US buyers please contact us for shipping rates.
