Cameos make an incredible traditional bridal gift from mother to daughter, usually given with the intent of wearing at the wedding ceremony, and to eventually pass down to their own daughter. They also make a very popular choice for "Something Borrowed". Please do note that all natural shell cameos when held to strong light will show fine growth lines to some extent, which is unique to each individual piece. We recommend storing fine cameo jewelry individually in a crush proof box, away from any other pieces that may damage them. Do not exposed to extreme cold temperatures, and occasionally you should moisturize the shell with olive or mineral oil. Please clean the mounting only with a very mild liquid soap such as Dove Liquid, a soft toothbrush, and a very gentle scrubbing action. Rinse well with plain tepid (luke warm) water, pat dry gently with a soft towel, and re-moisturize the shell cameo with oil after it is thoroughly dry.
