Exceptional sterling silver covered vegetable dish with a monogram on the bottom and signed "S. Kirk & Son Co 925/1000 2071″. That mark was used by this Baltimore firm from 1896-1924. Both the top and bottom have twelve raised portions that are totally hand chased with a different floral design. There is an intricate pattern on each of the edges and handle as well. This piece weighs around 34 troy ounces. Kirk was one of the most prominent silver makers of the period. This is a great example of the companies finest work!
