From our personal collection, signed “Luminaire" Standing Floor Fan in working condition with two candlestick lights on either side of the round projecting top casing.
The casing is all open work filigree with the original nameplate on the front (see photos). The back has vertical curved plates to direct the moving air. There are two working switches,
one is original and one the new one was replaced well. Nameplate: “ Luminaire, Cincinnati Victor Co, USA”. There are three speed settings for the fan and they all work. Notice
the original enamel paint highlights throughout – this is an upgrade - and most fans did not have this! The two side bulbs are probably not original (look very good) and could be replaced
with something you might prefer. There are some losses to the metal scrolling on the front that are very minor and hard to see (again, check photos). There also is some loss
to one side (photo). This is normal loss for something with fragile scrolling and it still is one of the best we have seen in retained metal form, and top notch in overall working condition.
The original preserved highlighted enamel paint is preserved from top to bottom. Often the top “crown” is missing but, this one is intact! The cord and plug are old and may be original.
This is an unusual decorative accessory and one of the best we have seen in decades.
Condition: Some areas of scroll loss of the metal, on the front and one side areas missing (the metal scrolling is fragile). One switch is replaced.
