Pair of Pairpoint candlesticks. One stick has four parts (see photo). These are the base, porcelain round stem, top that fits over the stem and a small inset to hold the candle. The stick with the flowers is missing the small cup that holds the candle. The bottom is signed "Pairpoint MFG Co New Bedord MA Quadruple plate 6139" (see photo). One middle porcelain tube has a cherry/red base and features an oval painted portrait of a French lady. This oval is framed by a rich gold enamel wreath. The other tube is decorated with a sprig of roses on both front and back. This is set into a robin's blue egg on both front and back. A beautiful pair of candlesticks made by one of the premier silver plate and painted porcelain companies of the period. Circa: 1910. Dimensions: 8"H x 3.75" square base. Condition: Excellent original condition with silver having old unpolished tarnish. They would shine up beautifully but for the customer that appreciates old tarnish we couldn't put this back on!
