Matched pair of Pairpoint candlesticks. Each stick has four parts (see photo). These are the base, porcelain round stem, top that fits over the stem and a small inset to hold the candle. The bottom is signed "Pairpoint MFG Co New Bedord MA Quadruple plate 6139" (see photo). The middle porcelain tube has a cherry/red base and features an oval painted portrait of a French lady. This oval is framed by a rich gold enamel wreath. A beautiful pair of candlesticks made by one of the premier silver plate and painted porcelain companies of the period. Circa: 1910. Dimensions: 8"H x 3.75" square base. Condition: Excellent original condition with silver having old unpolished tarnish. They would shine up beautifully but for the customer that appreciates old tarnish we couldn't put this back on! Price: $595 pair.
