Stunning framed Royal Vienna porcelain Victorian plate. The plate depicts four nude young women and a child sensually frolicking in a pond with water lilies and other flowers. The rim is decorated with a gold enamel repeating design on a ruby background. The aged bronze toned wooden frame is enhanced with extensive molded plaster decoration. It has the Royal Vienna beehive mark on the back along with "Austria" and title (see photo). A great subject in a decorative frame! Circa: 1880. Dimensions: 17" x 17" (Frame). 9.5" Diameter (Plate). Condition: The frame has some minor loses to the decoration (see photos). The backing was taken off at one point to discover the original markings on the back of the plate.
