Magnificent cloisonne extra-large charger with wire on the back to enable it to be hanged. The round middle features numerous flowers and two birds on a "sparkling" rust colored background. This is surrounded by elaborate repeating multi-colored design bands. The scalloped edge has sixteen curves on the rim. There is a slight concave curve to the surface. The back is blue with an ornate raised curved textured design. The charger has a brass or bronze foundation. This is the finest piece of cloisonne I have ever offered for sale! Circa: Late 1800's.
