From our personal collection, two exquisite celluloid boxes with lift tops. The first one is elaborately decorated with an Italian Renaissance
music room scene (see photos for exceptional details). This box is mechanical with an inside latch that releases the front panel when the top is lifted. On
the inside are the original vanity pieces (brush, mirror, comb, four items for nail care and a tiny covered box (one tiny box is missing.) The hand tools are
marked "French Ivory" which is the name of the celluloid. This gorgeous box is as beautiful and intricate on the inside - as it is on the outside!
The second box is a collar box with the original pink satin interior. Beautifully Art Nouveau decorated motif (see photos for rich details) of a lovely woman
observing a man painting pottery in a garden. Two outstanding, original condition boxes offered as a pair.
