Most unusual table lamp. The silver-plated frame features an ornate floral
metal design on the exterior of the slag glass panels of both the base and
the shade. A knob on the side of the base turns on the light within the
hollow of the bottom. The top of the base has two light sockets that can be turned on separately with a drop chain. Unusual blue slag glass is on both the flat top and curved sides of the shade. This shade sets on a ring at
the top of the base. The curved slag glass in the base is opaque white.
Gorham Lamp Company made lamps with silver plated frames although I can't make this a definite attribution. I love the form, quality and colors in
the lamp! Circa: Early 1900's. Dimensions: 16" H x 14"
(Diameter of shade). Condition: There are three age lines in the
concave metal above the panels in the base (see photo). The lamp has been
re electrified. The slag glass panels don't show age - it is possible that
they have been replaced. The silver has normal wear and tarnish. Price:
