Beautiful, all original, Victorian hanging country store lamp. It features a milk glass painted dome and matching font. Both have a band of fruit and leaves in the middle with a fancy geometric pattern above and below. A brass crown sits on the shade. There is a ring at the top to attach the lamp to the ceiling. There is a fancy brass inverted crown with hanging prisms that covers this ring. There are chains that originally raised and lowered the lamp. These are intact but frozen. The lamp could be adjusted to remain at another permanent height. Four chains hold up the brass shade ring. Glass prisms hang from this ring. The brass kerosene holder has the original burner and a "Success" knob to raise and lower the round wick. It has the original glass chimney. Ornate double brass support arms connect the shade holder to the font. A fancy brass ring is at the bottom. A wonderful complete country store lamp in "as found" original condition!
